I think this is the latest I have ever planted my garden. I did plant a couple of things 2 weeks ago but the bulk of the planting was done yesterday and today. As it is, my tomatoes and peppers aren't liking the cool weather and really wish they were back inside. I hope it warms up soon and they make it.
My main garden. I have Egyptian walking onions, pole beans, fennel, snow peas, beauty heart radishes, carrots, lettuce, beets and mini bell peppers.
I have potatoes in my earth boxes on my patio.
Yummy brussells sprouts!
Herbs - basil, parsley, sage, rosemary, marjoram, oregano
Bell peppers in the lower part of my new raised bed garden - 6 are mixed colors regular bells and 3 are mini bells - we love peppers, can you tell?
Tomatoes (roma) in the upper part of my new raised bed garden. They are not happy to be outside in the cold - I hope they perk up and make it.
And back behind the fence is Andy's garden and as usual he has planted cucumbers and watermelon. We added an A frame this year for the plants to grow up instead of having them all on the ground.
How about you? When did you plant your garden this year? If you are in Minnesota, haven't you just loved this weather?

I am in MN,we actually have had the garden in since about May 10th, we had a couple days of decent weather that week. We put our tomatoes out about a week later. I am not sure where you are but I am in the NW corner of the state.
And YES I am tired of cold dreary days!
I'm impressed Jenny - are your tomatoes doing well? Have you been covering them at night?
I'm in the Twin Cities metro area - West St. Paul - which is actually south of St. Paul, not west!
I haven't yet planted my hot weather plants. Just put out the kohlrabi, marigolds and dahlia. Almost all the peppers and tomatoes etc..,are still inside. I don't know when I'll plant them outside, only because it is so cold still in MN. They'll probably die anyway! Yes, this is the longest I have kept them inside, usually last week of May everything gets planted. This year, havent seen a decent sunshine yet(:
I'd be very curious to know how your plants fare in the coming week, keep posting!
I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who waited. My peppers seem to be doing fine but the tomatoes are another story - they weren't that big to start with - they just didn't grow that well this year - they are still hanging in there but I'm thinking that I will need to go to the store and buy replacement plants......
